Product Description
Shaquille O’Neal’s college days at Louisiana State University inspired the Reebok Shaq Attaq "LSU Tigers" colorway of Shaq’s first signature sneaker. Originally released in 1992, the Shaq Attaq was a part of one of the biggest marketing campaigns an NBA rookie had ever seen. Shaq, and his Dunkman logo that was debuted on the Reebok Shaq Attaq, was everywhere. After 3 seasons at LSU averaging over 21 points per game, over 13 rebounds per game and nearly 5 blocks per game during his college career, Shaq was drafted by the Orlando Magic and the entire world was eager and waiting to see the big man take over the NBA. Over 30 years after the Shaq Attaq first released, Reebok revisited Shaquille O’Neal’s college career at Louisiana State to create a unique colorway of his first signature sneaker. The LSU Tigers Shaq Attaq features the purple and yellow colors of the school with tiger-like graphics on the ankle collar. The most unique feature of the LSU Shaq Attaq comes underneath the nubuck overlays and patent Reebok vector logo in the form of a textured leather finish on the Lakers-like purple and gold. The Reebok Shaq Attaq "LSU Tigers" released the same weekend as the All Star Game in 2013, which just happened to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. 1821 ea83b082-220d-45ef-bb1f-86afeb94c41a Please Note: due to natural aging, deadstock pairs may come a functioning pump unit.
