The image is a rectangular full color replication of the HNIC album artwork by Prodigy, one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep. Supreme branding is present on the woven label inside the collar and on the lower left corner of the image.
Having been founded in Lower Manhattan in 1994, Supreme has always expressed its admiration of New York City culture. Mobb Deep was a hip-hop duo founded in Queens, New York, in 1991 by members Prodigy and Havoc. In 2000, Prodigy released his debut album, HNIC, before his untimely death several years later in 2017.
