Frankly, it comes as a surprise that this Supreme Mona Lisa Tee is the first time Supreme referenced the classic Da Vinci painting. Classic art has always been a staple of Supreme's graphics, and the Mona Lisa is possibly the most famous painting of all time. The early 1500s work joins a long list of Supreme art references that also included Richard Estes and George Braque in the Spring/Summer 2018 season. It makes perfect sense that the legendary streetwear brand would want their name next to this image - who wouldn't want to flex Supreme and Da Vinci at the same time?
