Product Description

Unlike other Curry One colorways, it’s Steph’s relationship with his father Dell that inspired the Under Armour Curry One "Father To Son" version. While most Curry One colorways feature Warriors colors, or at very least something tied to Steph, his father Dell Curry’s former team, the Charlotte Hornets colors make their way on to this Curry 1. If you’re not familiar, Dell Curry was one of the greatest shooters NBA history, so the "Father To Son" name comes from the skills that were clearly passed between the generations. For the Shooting Stars competition over NBA All Star Weekend in New York, Stephen Curry, his father Dell Curry and Seattle Storm star Sue Bird were teamed up. It was at this event that Curry and his father Dell laced up the Father To Son colorway of the Curry One for the world to see. Unfortunately it turned out to be one of the few things Steph Curry didn’t win during the 2014-2015 NBA season but the purple and teal color "Hornets" color combination still came out victoriously. While colors can grab attention, it’s been the technology (anaFoam, Charged Foam, etc.) and performance that has amateur basketball players and YouTubers giving the Curry One rave reviews. With the backstory of basketball heritage and sharpshooting lineage of the Curry family, the Under Armour Curry One "Father To Son" is a sneaker that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
