Product Description

The Vans Sk8-Hi A Tribe Called Quest is a high-top skate shoe inspired by the band A Tribe Called Quest’s debut album.

This version of the Vans Sk8-Hi is made with a white and beige suede upper. Beige suede dominates the forefoot, forming the perforated toe box and the eyestays, while white forms the sides and the ankle. The Vans stripe in white crosses each side panel, and Bonita Applebum, the name of a song from A Tribe Called Quest’s album, is seen on the lateral forefoot in black text. Suede forms the heel and contains a curvy stick figure drawing of a woman whose head looks like the petals of a flower. The Vans Off The Wall tag appears on the tongue and as a patch on the midsole’s heel.

What stands out about this shoe is its subtle branding for both Vans and the band – it’s simple yet packs a punch. The Vans Sk8-Hi A Tribe Called Quest was released on March 30, 2018, for $85.
