This Yeezy Desert Boot was said to be inspired by both the Yeezy 500 sneaker and the military boots so often worn by soldiers throughout the world. It featured a mesh upper with brown suede and nubuck overlays to give it a rugged look and feel. It also included features like a large reflective tongue pull and thick laces to make it more durable. It was finished off with a chunky black rubber outsole that had big grooves in it to provide proper traction.

This boot was a departure from some of the other footwear included in Yeezy’s Season 7 collection, but that was a big part of what our experts appreciated about it.
