Nike Air Max Plus atmos White Hyper Jade
Thereās no denying the Nike Air Max Plus atmos White Hyper Jade. Itās not just one of the best Air Max Plus releases of this year, itās a viable contender for sneaker of the year.Ā
This shoe was originally released exclusively at Japanese sneaker chain atmos in late 2021, but received a wider global release in June of 2022. The shoe features a striking Hyper Jade colourway throughout, most noticeable on the forward half of the TPU cage that runs the length of the upper. The swoosh, eyelets, and even the air bubbles also feature hits of Hyper Jade, working together to create one of the most appealing Air Max Plusā weāve seen in years.
Nike Air Max Plus White Neon Metallic Silver (W)
There are few pop colours as effective or striking as neon green. It justā¦works. Here, Nike have shown restraint by applying neon hits in a limited dosage, namely across the swoosh and midfoot whale tails (named such because their shape was inspired by a whaleās tail breaching the surface of the ocean). Metallic silver almost steals the show here with large hits on the heel panel and also the tongue, while the iconic TPU cage sports a sail-to-black gradient.
Oui, oui! ?? Itās the Nike Air Max Plus France in all its glory. This pair, released in early 2022, boasts a considered design that seems to reveal another layer each time you look. The most noticeable element here is the printed chain graphic that adorns the mesh upper, which sits below a matte black TPU cage. Premium, textured leather overlays run along both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe, while reflective 3M detailing shows itself in the right light. The colours of the French flag sit on the tongue, while the numbers 9 and 3 are printed on the tongue beneath the laces.Ā Ā

Nike Air Max Plus Tide (2022)
Another classic colorway getting a re-release in 2022 is the Air Max Plus Tide. This colourway dropped back in 2014, and fans have been waiting ever since for a re-up. You know what else dropped in 2014? The iPhone 6. Yeah, the Tides dropped that long ago. Imagine the feeling if you had both the Tides and an iPhone 6? Unstoppable.Ā
Anyway, the 2022 release comes correct, with a white TPU cage that sits on top of a perfect blue-to-white fade upper. Hits of red in all the right places complete the look, making this an easy inclusion in our list of the best Nike Air Max Plus.
Nike Air Max Plus Spray Paint Swoosh White Blue
Creating a pair of clean white kicks that still boast the right amount of pop can be a harder equation than it sounds, but Nike have nailed it here with the Air Max Plus Spray Paint Swoosh.Ā
The white midsole and TPU cage gives way to a blue spray painted swoosh on the mesh upper, with a blue and gold swoosh on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. The tongue boasts a premium white leather touchpoint and another blue and gold branding hit. Reflective 3M details on the upper show themselves right when you need them.
Nike Air Max Plus White Black Mint Green
Releasing in late 2021, the Nike Air Max Plus Mint Green boasts a two-tone upper in contrast to many of the most popular Air Max Plus designs. The mesh upper boasts a white and black gradient pattern, which neatly opposes the gradient on the TPU cage. This shoe really looks its best from above, where you can see the black stripe that runs down the centre of the shoe. A patent black heel panel and mint green air windows add nice touches to the shoe, while the fade on the midfoot whale tail completes the design.
