The weather is changing, fam. The Yeezy Slides are dropping down the rotation and the search is on for great layering pieces to add to the daily look. Autumn is actually my favourite season for fashion, especially in Melbourne. We get a bit of everything – crisp mornings, warm and sunny afternoons, and enough previews of winter to remind me to buy a new puffer.

This. Bangs. From a wider collection release in February 2022 comes the Palace x Detroit Tigers New Era Coach Jacket in navy blue. Featuring dual branding on the chest and a large Detroit Tigers logo on the back, you don’t have to be up on the latest in the MLB to rock this one. 

A classic 6-button coaches jacket is a great layering piece – wear it with a t shirt on warmer days, or drape it over a hoodie when the mercury dips. It’s also a handy piece in winter when you don’t want to get stuck lugging a puffer around – you know how it is when you go to dinner or a movie and you sit down and have 3 metres of puffer jacket sitting in your lap. Straight up, I bought my first denim jacket on a trip to New York in 2019, and it took all my strength to leave the change room.
