This week, Nike is rolling out a ton for Air Max Day while dropping two releases for Jordan Brand. Yeezy and adidas match up by releasing new colors of the Foam RNNR and 700 V3. Read up on all of the kicks surfacing this week in our latest Drop List below.

This article is part 13 of 131 in the series: The Drop List

Air Max Day is upon us, and so is the return of the coveted Air Max 90 Bacon colorway from Nike and Dave’s Quality Meats that originally debuted in 2006. In addition to the return of the top-tier Air Max, Jordan Brand dishes out an upgraded Stealth 5, and Yeezy brings back the renowned Foam RNNR in two different iterations. Check out these releases and more in the latest Drop List.

Nike Air Max 90 Bacon (2021)

The Nike Air Max 90 Bacon is still one of the most highly sought-after Air Max runners of all time. So much so that Nike is set to bring back the 2006 design to celebrate Air Max Day this year. It is not often that Nike retros collaborations, while most rarely resurface. But with its continuously growing fan base and pleas from Air Max fans to revive the 16-year-old colorway, Nike brought back the sneaker in its OG form.

The Nike Air Max 90 Bacon returns with all of the design qualities from the 2006 collaboration with Dave’s Quality Meat’s creator, David Ortiz. Mimicking the different shades of colors that appear from raw bacon, the sneaker is composed of various shades of brown, red, pink, and off-white. With a combination of suede, tumbled leather, and mesh, this Air Max 90 brings a luxe feel to the traditional 1990 model.

The Nike Air Max 90 Bacon releases on Air Max Day, March 26th for $140 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

Air Jordan 5 Stealth (2021)

The Air Jordan 5 Stealth is slated to release this weekend, paying homage to the original Stealth colorway from 2006. This Stealth drop marks the third appearance of the 1989 Jordan 5 model in 2021, introducing a spring-ready predecessor from February’s Anthracite 5.

The Air Jordan 5 Stealth features subtle changes that differentiate it from the 2006 version. The midsole features a grey base with black accents hit with blue splatter paint, contrasting the blue spikes on the OG pair. Other noticeable differences include a new black embroidered Jumpman on the heel and black lining behind the classic reflective tongue. Outside of those additions, the 2021 Stealth brings familiar elements to the 15-year-old release, with a white tumbled leather upper and translucent rubber mesh on the panels for breathability.

The Air Jordan 5 Stealth drops this Saturday, March 27th, for $190 on SNKRS app and other Jordan stockists.

Yeezy Foam RNNR Moon Grey & Sand

Following the hype of the debut Ararat colorway of the Yeezy Foam RNNR, adidas and Kanye West rolls out the environmentally friendly shoe in two new colors. Pre-release prices for both colorways are already reaching over 1400% from their $75 retail price, proving that the hype for the slides has only grown since the Ararat drop.

The Yeezy Foam RNNR Moon Grey delivers a totally new color layout, making it different from the original, neutral Ararat. Still constructed partially from algae, the entire shoe is hit with a mix of Sand and Moon Grey colors in a psychedelic mashup. The Sand iteration is reminiscent of the 2019 initial release, sporting a shade darker than the Ararat but with all of the same big hole perforations in its build.

Both Yeezy Foam RNNRs release this Friday, March 26th for $75 on Yeezy Supply, adidas.com, and other Yeezy stockists.

adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Kyanite

Alongside the Foam RNNR releases, the Three Stripes and Kanye West are dropping a new colorway of the 700 V3. In a similar fashion to their 2020’s Azareth release, the sneaker brings back the favored blue design on the Yeezy model.

The adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Kyanite features familiar qualities that fans of the 700 V3 will appreciate. The upper is composed of Primeknit material that is enshrined in a glow-in-the-dark TPU cage. From there, a cream-colored EVA foam midsole adds a tonal element to the sneaker’s design. Lastly, a herringbone-patterned outsole provides traction for the wearer while stepping out on the street.

The adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Kyanite releases this Thursday, March 25th, for $200 on Yeezy Supply, adidas.com, and other Yeezy stockists.

CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 Kiss Of Death

Similar to the Bacon’s return, Nike and long-time collaborator, CLOT, are set to reissue their Nike Air Max 1 CLOT Kiss Of Death. The sneaker debuted in 2006 and now the original pair is reselling for over $1,000 on StockX. Bringing back the collab in its original design answers the prayers of many Air Max fans that were unable to get their hands on the pair 15 years ago and in the years since.

For CLOT founder, Edison Chen, the sole mission of his work with Nike is to bridge Eastern and Western cultures through design and storytelling based on Chinese traditions. The Nike Air Max 1 CLOT Kiss Of Death fulfills this mission by mixing Nike’s innovative designs with Chinese philosophies on medicine, specifically foot pressure points. The upper is composed of translucent materials, making feet the focal point. Following the translucent theme, the shoe also features an icy-blue outsole with a printed diagram showing the pressure points on the foot. The shoe also incorporates some luxe details, such as faux snakeskin on the Swoosh and ostrich texture on the collar.

The Nike Air Max 1 CLOT Kiss Of Death releases in the US this Saturday, March 27th, for $150 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

Nike Air Max Pre-Day Liquid Lime

It wouldn’t be Air Max Day without the rollout of a new Air Max silhouette. Last year it was the Air Max 2090, showing what the future of Air Max holds. This year, it’s the Air Max Pre-Day reverting back to its past, taking design cues from previous Air Max releases that helped create the groundwork of the Air Max catalog while incorporating innovations that have given the series its longevity.

The Nike Air Max Pre-Day combines original track aesthetics with updated Nike technology. The silhouette holds similarities to the shape of the 1970’s Daybreak, with its arrow-like design, spearing through wind. The lime green upper is constructed out of 20% recycled materials, making it one of the greenest Air Max sneakers ever made. A new fully exposed Air bag heel nods to the Air Max’s heritage of introducing visible Air. This new addition adds a more pronounced bounce to the wearer’s stride.

The Nike Air Max Pre-Day is releasing alongside the Nike Air Max 90 Bacon on Friday, March 26th, for $130 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

Nike Air Max 97 Swarovski Polar Blue

Nike and Swarovski come together yet again on the Air Max 97. Their latest collaboration comes just in time for Air Max Day, adding another sparkling selection to celebrate the annual holiday. This is the fourth time the two brands have worked on the Air Max 97, revamping the original Polar Blue colorway from 1997.

The Nike Air Max 97 Swarovski Polar Blue is a disco ball for your feet, as the upper is covered in many Swarovski crystals. Underneath the crystals is a grey mesh that adds flexibility, breathability, and additional comfort to the mostly Air bubble midsole. From there, hits of Polar Blue appear solely on the Swooshes located on the tongue, side panels, and outsole. Lastly, the 97’s classic 360-degree Air bubble cushioning system brings the silver bullet train-inspired kicks together.

The Nike Air Max 97 Swarovski Polar Blue releases on Thursday, March 25th, for $400 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.

Air Jordan 1 Patina

The Air Jordan 1 makes its first return since early March’s University Blue release. Despite the upcoming spring, which usually calls for pastels, the Air Jordan 1 Patina colorway delivers a new way to embrace the season.

The Air Jordan 1 Patina looks as though it was inspired by metal. The backend of the sneaker features grey suede from the collar to the heel. Moving closer to the toe, a mix of copper and black leathers appear. Lastly, a mint Nike Air logo on the tongue is stitched atop a black nylon tongue, bringing a hit of brightness to the otherwise dark colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 Patina releases in the EU and select US retailers on Thursday, March 25th, for $170.
