Air Jordan 5 Raging Bulls

Itā€™s been 12 years since the Air Jordan 5 Defining Moments pack dropped. This year, one-half of that pack resurfaces on the SNKRS app: the Air Jordan 5 Raging Bulls.

The Air Jordan 5 Raging Bulls is a suede loverā€™s dream, bringing back the same look and feel from the 2009 version. The upper is composed entirely out of red suede, celebrating MJā€™s tenure with the Chicago Bulls. From there, a red and black embroidered ā€œ23ā€ appears on the lateral side of each shoeā€™s heel, highlighting Jordanā€™s quintessential jersey number. In usual Jordan 5 fashion, the upper part of the tongue is made of reflective materials with a contrasting black Jumpman logo. Lastly, the modelā€™s World War II fighter jet inspiration is made apparent from the white and red shark tooth details that lay atop a black midsole.

The Air Jordan 5 Raging Bulls releases this Saturday, April 10th, for $190 on the SNKRS app and other Jordan Brand stockists.

Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth

Nike SB returns this week with another Dunk Low collaboration with Japan-based designer Verdy. After his debut partnership with the Swoosh showcasing his Girls Donā€™t Cry imprint in 2019, the upcoming drop brings his second brand, Wasted Youth, into the limelight.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth brings a more rugged and deconstructed look thatā€™s different from Verdyā€™s first sneaker collab. Inspired by the relationship between punk and skate culture, the upper is composed of patchwork black denim and hits of black tumbled leather throughout. On each shoeā€™s medial side is Wasted Youthā€™s rose logo stitched alongside the Nike Swoosh to show true collaboration between the brands. The sneaker also features a DIY option on the lateral sideā€™s Swoosh, where wearers can cut the black stitching to reveal a white-outlined Swoosh underneath. Lastly, ā€œWastedā€ and ā€œYouthā€ embroidered on the heel tab is met with a D-Ring further touching on the designā€™s punk inspiration.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Wasted Youth releases this Tuesday, April 6th for $130 on the SNKRS app and other Nike SB stockists.

Jordan 1 Centre Court White University Red

After its debut on last summerā€™s hit The Last Dance documentary when Michael Jordan himself wore them on camera, the Jordan 1 Centre Court sees another appearance since 2020. The new Jordan 1 Centre Court White University Red brings a block of color to the minimally designed low-cut silhouette.

The Jordan 1 Centre Court White University Red shows Jordan Brandā€™s continuing evolution from performance to casual footwear. The upper features a mix of leather and suede materials, bringing a more luxe feel to the classic Jordan 1 model. Reminiscent of 2019ā€™s Defiant Couture AJ1 High, a striking University Red block print that wraps around the heel bringing a pop of color to the monochrome sneaker. To close it out, a Zoom Air insole brings further comfort.

The Jordan 1 Centre Court White University Red releases this Thursday, April 8th for $130 on the SNKRS app and Jordan stockists.

Coca-Cola ASICS Gel-Quantum 90

Coca-Cola is no stranger to sneaker collaborations. In 2018, KITH partnered with the beverage company and Converse on a slew of Chuck Taylor 70s. Just last year, A Bathing Ape brought Coca-Cola on to two Bapestas. This year, Coke keeps the collabs coming with their latest host being the ASICS Gel-Quantum 90.

The ASICS Gel-Quantum 90 Coca-Cola shows no subtlety when it comes to branding. Off the bat, Coca-Colaā€™s logo is printed on top of the shoeā€™s medial side ASICS logos. Underneath is a bright red knitted upper, making it easy for breathability on the feet. More Coca-Cola branding appears on the leather heel tabs and an image of the classic bottleā€™s silhouette is printed on the tongueā€™s lace loop. Wrapping up the design is a white midsole with bold green Gel cushioning, resembling Cokeā€™s vintage glass bottles.

The ASICS Gel-Quantum 90 Coca-Cola releases Friday, April 9th for $140 at select shops across the globe.

Nikeā€™s latest earth-conscious innovation, the Crater sole, which incorporates grounded-up scraps of Nike materials, is taking on a new silhouette. This week, Nike introduces the Crater Impact.

The Nike Crater Impact keeps the Swooshā€™s sustainability initiatives rolling, bringing a running-forward design to the growing Crater series. The upper on this specific pair, the Natural, is composed mostly of a Summit White mesh and a Grey Fog-threaded Nike logo on the side panels. Hits of Hyper Crimson appear throughout, bringing more brightness to the light-colored sneaker. Lastly, the quintessential Crater Foam sole adds more cushion between the feet and the ground to reduce impact to the runner.

The Nike Crater Impact Natural releases Thursday, April 8th for $110 on Nike.com and other Nike stockists.

This week, adidas and LEGO continue their collaborative efforts with a new take on the Ultra Boost DNA. The two brands incorporate the brick toy into the Boost series in a new way after their successful ZX 8000 collab from 2020.

The adidas Ultra Boost DNA LEGO turns the popular running sneaker into a playful companion to the famous LEGO brick. The sneaker is composed of a majority white upper, with raised details on the toe box resembling the blocks. From there, the classic cage encases the upperā€™s sides as the Three Stripes are carved out to let the wearer add in one of the 144 colorful LEGO pieces that come with every pair. This additional accessory to the pair gives the wearer full customizing control. Lastly, a metallic silver toe wrap and heel cap bring more flare to the playful sneaker.

The adidas Ultra Boost DNA LEGO releases this Thursday, April 8th for $160 at select retailers in the EU.

Kim Jones is on a roll this year with yet another footwear collaboration. Coming off of Marchā€™s Nike Air Max 95 capsule collection, the Dior Creative Director takes on the Converse Chuck 70s, putting a different spin on the classic silhouette.

The Converse Chuck 70s Kim Jones adds elevated stylistic features to the retro basketball sneaker. Inspired by outdoor wear, the upper includes a transparent weather-proof TPU cage that protects the entire Natural Ivory and Black materials. The sneaker is also equipped with a raised rubber midsole and rugged outsole that add more grip and height to the traditionally sleek model.

The Converse Chuck 70s Kim Jones releases Thursday, April 8th for $160 on the SNKRS app and other Converse stockists.

Nike LeBron 7 Los Angeles Dodgers

The Nike LeBron 7 Los Angeles Dodgers is the latest colorway to release from Nikeā€™s initiative to retro the Kingā€™s signature models. When it comes to Nike retroing basketball sneakers, most are from players that have long retired from the NBA. With LeBronā€™s powerful force in the league and long-lasting influence on the game, the current Los Angeles Lakers small forward is one of the few current players to have his older pairs resurface.

The Nike LeBron 7 Los Angeles Dodgers brings back LeBronā€™s seventh signature sneaker in true form while paying homage to another famous West Coast team. Royal Blue patent leather overlays wrap around the midsole of the shoe, while bold white Swooshes are on the lateral side of the upper. The upper is also composed of Nikeā€™s past Flywire technology, which provides support to the feet while performing dynamic motions on court. Lastly, chrome details, such as LeBronā€™s original ā€œL23ā€ logo on the heel and metallic lace tabs on the upper, bring shiny details to the shoe.

Look for the Nike LeBron 7 Los Angeles Dodgers to release Friday, April 9th, for $200 on the SNKRS app and other Nike stockists.
