The adidas Yeezy QNTM inspired by Ye’s collaboration with adidas is a futuristic sneaker cum basketball footwear. Featuring a heightened ankle collar, performance-oriented herringbone traction, and a suede overlay, the silhouette rivals other on-court shoes. The sneakers are made of leather with borrowed V2 technology from the Yeezy Boost.
adidas Yeezy QNTM boasts a two-toned upper with an extended ankle collar and 3M detailing that accentuates the serrated Kurin trim. The QNTM’s reflective detailing overlays the two-tone Primekit pattern from the heel counter to the suede overlay toecap for extra styling. Similar to the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, the quantum outsole is made of rubber for extra comfort. The quantum’s large heel counter makes it an easy shoe to wear and lace up with the TPU yarn. Sneakerheads will appreciate the extra Boost cushioning inside the sole of the QNTM. The outer leather material with cagy sides and extended toe padding provide decent legroom and comfort for wide-footed buyers. As an added merit, the midsole has little ground clearance for extra stability. The herringbone outsole, similar to the Yeezy Boost 380, infuses with the translucent rubber outsole to complete traction and imparts all-day comfort.
To appeal to the off-court Yeezy fans, adidas reproduce the quantum’s wavy pattern in tonal blue, mono-carbon, amber tint, frozen blue, teal, barium and other multicolored hues that eke out illuminated flex on off-court night excursions. The extra detailing is not present on the courtside-oriented Yeezy QNTM.
3-Stripes and Ye based the adidas Yeezy QNTM on on-court silhouettes that now double up as comfort sneakers available in multiple colorways like the New Onyx.
