Carhartt

The American heavy-duty workwear company Carhartt was founded in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt in Detroit, Michigan. At first, the company only produced denim and duck fabric overalls meant to be worn during manual labour. Still, they quickly expanded into producing durable and comfortable outerwear and footwear. The Carhartt family still privately owns the company to ensure that the tradition and high-quality standards live on through their products.

The Carhartt brand continues to produce durable workwear more than 130 years after its founding. Perhaps one of the brand's most iconic pieces is the Carhartt WIP x Invincible Chore Coat in Hamilton Brown. The colour and style of this utility piece, released as a collaboration with the Taiwanese streetwear brand Invincible, pays homage to the original Carhartt products of old. They also make other versions of the Chore Coat for wearers looking for different colours.

As they've updated their style over the decades, Carhartt also produces accessories and home goods. Take the Carhartt WIP Canvas Planter Set in Hamilton Brown, for example. This planter set can be used indoors or outdoors to shield your potted plants from wear and tear, especially from the weather. They also produce durable canvas baskets that can be used as hampers or storage.

As the Carhartt brand has built a loyal customer base, they've also earned the status needed to be able to produce collectibles. You can find Carhartt branded basketballs and a Carhartt WIP Archives Book detailing the history and evolution of this iconic brand.
