Casablanca

Casablanca is a luxury fashion brand founded by Parisian-born designer Charaf Tajer in 2018 that quickly gained prominence for its distinct aesthetic. It combines casual and athletic elements with high-quality materials to create apparel that blends comfort and luxury.

The Casablanca brand takes inspiration from the rich cultural heritages of France and Morocco, combining bright colour palettes and pops of pastel with intricate patterns. Known for their leisurewear-inspired silhouettes, these pieces are crafted from top-quality silks, cashmere, terry cloths, and bespoke cottons and are revered for their luxurious drape.

Silk twill is a favoured fabric in Casablanca's signature collections, which are presented through runway shows and presentations during Fashion Week in Paris. Thanks to its smooth surface, the saturation of its hues, and the way in which the material moves, garments crafted from silk twill, such as the Lucid Dreams Short Sleeve are among the brand's most iconic pieces. Other pieces from the collection, like their sportswear-inspired garments, make use of technical fabrics like nylon and polyester in order to provide durability, functionality, and a modern edge to their designs.

Besides their cultural influence and premium fabrics, Casablanca's designs often incorporate elements of opulence that make their aesthetic align well with many other luxury brands that prioritise similar values. Consider pairing your Casablanca apparel with accessories that, like Casablanca, draw their inspiration from global heritages and emphasise top quality. Balenciaga, for example, offers a myriad of fashion items to complement your Casablanca garments, from handbags to belts to sunglasses to jewellery.
