Lacoste

The Lacoste crocodile logo is one of the most recognizable worldwide. It's associated with top-quality casual wear, shoes, and accessories with a sporty edge. This influence is due to the brand's heritage. It was founded by French tennis Grand Slam winner and former world no. 1, Jean René Lacoste, in 1933, who infused his style from the beginning. His nickname as a player was "The Crocodile" due to his ferocious tenacity on the court, so it was a natural choice as the brand's mascot. The company's first major success came with its polo shirts. Designed for tennis, their petit piqué cotton fabric soon made them off-court favourites, too.

Since then, Lacoste clothing has expanded into trendy streetwear and accessories, producing everything from T-shirts to pants and even perfume. Its trainers have remained in high demand, serving both as everyday wear and collectibles. The Lacoste L003 2K24 High Snobiety is a great example of the brand's evolution. Despite its transition into a lifestyle brand, Lacoste has retained its sporting ethos, which is evident in the design themes of its products. The brand also has close associations with global sports icons, from tennis to golf, which adds to the Lacoste cachet. Stars like Novak Djokovic have acted as brand ambassadors, inspiring a new generation of athletes and fashion enthusiasts to connect with the brand's rich sporting heritage.

The Lacoste clothing lines have always stood apart for combining vintage cuts with modern flair. It has a distinctive character and a solid reputation for high-quality materials and craft.
