Nike KD

Nike KD, the Nike and Kevin Durant collaboration began when he joined the NBA in 2008, with the second-largest endorsement deal for a rookie at the period. Since then, this collaboration has produced 14 iterations of basketball sneakers.

The first edition of the Nike KD shoe was the Nike Zoom KD1. Released in 2008, this shoe had a leather upper with a KD logo on the ankle area. It featured Zoom Air in the forefoot and molded to the foot. The second signature shoe was released after a year, in 2009. Besides the color scheme, the only other notable change on this iteration was the signature strap across the shoe. Over the years, the designs for successive KDs have continually varied. For example, the 2013 KD6, known for iterations like the What the KD, Elite Gold, and Liger, features an ultra-thin upper constructed using Flywire technology and an outsole with hexagon patterns to add underfoot traction. On the other hand, 2017 KD 10, known for iterations such as Numbers, Oreo, and Anniversary, features a FlyKnit upper that enhances tenacity on the court, an innovative lacing system that improves security to the foot, and full-length Air Zoom cushioning.

The Nike KD is highly reviewed by all-casual wearers and active basketball players alike. In our opinion, this is because though it is comfortable and has a smooth fit. Nike KD shoes also allow a player to maintain control of his movement, regardless of how fast he/she is moving.

Other than elite sneakers like Nike KDs, there are plenty of Nike accessories and apparel you can add to your collection. Whether you want a hoodie, sweatpants, or a simple backpack, Nike has got you covered.
