That’s a long time for a signature sneaker line and to tie the tradition from the past with the technology of the future, Jordan Brand did something unprecedented. This week also saw some unprecedented action on the new Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD “Human Race” release. Then there’s the Black/Metallic Silver Jordan 5s.

Air Jordan XXX1
The latest Air Jordan signature model releases next month and for the first time, features both the Jumpman and the Nike Swoosh across the upper. The design of the Jordan XXX1 is meant to honor the past and embrace the future. So far the reviews on Twitter have been a mixed bag. The USA colorway arrives on August 8th and is rumored to be a limited release.
Air Jordan 1 “Yin/Yang” aka Premium Essentials
One of the general laws of fashion is that classic never goes out of style. Jordan 1s with a simple white and black color combo are exactly that. Originally the “Premium Essentials” Jordan 1 releases were nicknamed the Yin Yang pack by the Internet. It was even floating around that they were only releasing in Japan, however, Sneaker News is reporting they will release worldwide on August 6th.
Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD “Human Race”
Did anyone see the hype around the latest Pharrell and adidas Originals collaboration coming? It seems the secondary market is eating up all of the bright yellow NMDs despite the prices reaching double retail and more. We can only imagine the future colorways will move the needle as well.
