StockX launches Xpress Ship, offering three-day shipping just in time for the holiday season

StockX today launched Xpress Ship, a new feature allowing customers to order select pre-verified items and receive delivery within three business days. The inventory – which is sourced from vetted StockX sellers – spans a wide range of silhouettes and some of the best-selling sneakers of 2023, including the adidas Samba OG Black White Gum, Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme White, adidas Yeezy Slide Slate Grey, and Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC Toe.
Xpress Ship products are subjected to the same rigorous, multi-step verification process facilitated by StockX’s team of expert authenticators. Unlike other purchases made on the platform, however, Xpress Ship items are verified in advance and stored at a StockX facility. Pre-verifying select items allows StockX to ship a product as soon as a customer purchases it, circumventing potential delays caused by a seller failing to ship an item to StockX or an item failing verification after it arrives at a StockX authentication center.
“Xpress Ship is a direct result of community feedback – we surveyed tens of thousands of StockX customers and fast shipping consistently ranked among the most requested features,” said StockX CEO, Scott Cutler. “As a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers, we don’t have complete control over shipping times. This launch gives us more ownership over the pace of deliveries and allows us to offer a better and faster experience for our customers.”
How it works:
- Visit the StockX app or website and look for products that have a rocket icon. Use StockX’s search filters to sort by products eligible for Xpress Ship.
- Once you’ve found your item, select the Xpress Ship option during checkout and complete your purchase. Xpress Ship items carry a $24.95 shipping fee, which is $10 more than StockX’s standard shipping rate in the United States.
- Receive your purchase within three business days.
This launch marks the first phase of Xpress Ship. StockX is focused on improving the pace of deliveries, ensuring a broader selection of products are available for Xpress Ship, and scaling the program to make it available outside the United States starting in 2024.
Xpress Ship is the latest in a series of customer-focused enhancements StockX has introduced in the last year. Over the summer the company lowered fees for all sellers globally as part of its revamped seller program. Additionally, in early 2023 StockX introduced its new Buyer Promise policy, giving customers an option to return their purchase if the company makes a mistake.
