After plenty of speculation and a plethora of online leaks, the oft-rumored assortment of items dropped November 1st, 2019. The collaboration churned out arguably some of the most coveted housewares ever. Off-White visionary Virgil Abloh took Ikea's familiar products and emblazoned them in his signature descriptions, with the collection of goods reveling in a classic minimalist design that builds on artistic references and disruptive elements. The line was titled "MARKERAD," which is Swedish for "marked," a playful nod to Abloh's frequent use of quotation marks as a design element. Items in the collection include a tool set, coffee table, various rugs, and a duvet/pillowcase bedding set. The MARKERAD "TEMPORARY" Wall Clock and the MARKERAD "WET GRASS" Rug are indicative of Off-White's aesthetic combined with Ikea's renowned practicality.
