Crocs Collaborations

Crocs were instantly popular from the day they were introduced. But most people originally thought Crocs had only been designed for boating and other water activities. After all, Crocs are slip resistant, which is a plus for any activity around water; inspired by the Dutch clog; and extremely comfortable thanks to Croslite foam. Now with Crocs collaborations, the brand has come into its own, however.

Crocs collaborations with brands and artists have only helped to fuel the brand further and reshape the perception of Crocs by turning them into sought-after footwear. Did you know that be it child- or adult-sized, each individual shoe has 13 holes in it, strategically placed for airflow and to keep excess moisture out? What’s more, the holes are ideal spots to place Jibbitz, charms to complement specific collabs and show off your personality in a subtle (or not so subtle) way.

No one or no brand is off limits when it comes to Crocs collaborations. Artists and pop-culture icons such as Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Diplo, and SZA have all put their personal touches on Crocs to attract younger generations. Popular footwear designer Salehe Bembury’s collabs are notoriously trendy due to their balance of form and function. Fashion labels such as Balenciaga, Awake NY, Carrots, and Beams take creativity and run with it. In their second collab, Balenciaga added a heel to create the Madame 80 and introduced rain boots. Then there are collabs with General Mills Cereals that produced Lucky Charms Magically Delicious, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Trix Crocs. Separately sold Jibbitz complete the look and create an ode to America’s favourite breakfast cereals.
