The Air Jordan 24 is a silhouette that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s defensive play on the court. Also known as the Air Jordan 2009, this trainer is available in four colourways.

Air Jordan 24 trainers are built with premium materials and technologies. The upper features a geometrically shaped shoe box constructed with soft polishable leather, pleated satin panelling, and a plush inner lining. Inspired by the fencing sport, the upper also features metal mesh detailing on the tongue, sharp lines, detailed geometric lines that assume the shape of a diamond, and a holographic jewel at the ankle in the geometric lines. Branding details include the Jumpman logo on the tongue and a unique “Jordan” logo close to the toebox. The Air Jordan 24 midsole has a forefoot and heel cushioned with Zoom Air units. The heel section in the sock liner also features a Zoom Air unit.

The Zoom Air Unit cushioning system is highlighted by Articulated Propulsion Technology (APT), an innovative technology used in basketball footwear. It is inspired by the elastic carbon fibre prosthetics used by Paralympians and is visible on the separated heel “platform” design in the Air Jordan 24. The midsole features a TPU chassis with a special blown-glass-inspired mould, creating a unique pattern on each shoe in the collection. Air Jordan 2009 trainers have a unique translucent rubber outsole with a multidirectional traction pattern and sharp parallel lines inspired by sword movements during a fencing game. The Air Jordan 24 is available in different colourways, including the Black/White/Varsity Red, which is the initial release. It is also available in White/Metallic Silver/Black, Black/Metallic Gold, and Black/Varsity Red/Metallic Gold like in the Jordan 2009 Hall of Fame GS.
