adidas Ultra Boost X

adidas released its first running sneaker featuring Boost technology, the adidas Energy Boost, in 2013. It featured an expanded thermoplastic polyurethane material developed by German chemical company BASF that made it one of the lightest and most comfortable running sneakers on the market at the time. adidas would then go on to release other Boost-powered running sneakers like the adidas Pure Boost before eventually landing on the crown jewel of the Boost collection, the adidas Ultra Boost, and the subsequent adidas Ultra Boost X.

The adidas Ultra Boost includes a Primeknit upper, a full-length Boost sole, and ARAMIS motion-capture technology that was once used by NASA to run tests on space shuttles. It also included a distinct lace cage that adidas would eventually decide to do away with for certain pairs of the adidas Ultra Boost X. The beauty of this upgraded version of the adidas Ultra Boost was that it would provide women, in particular, with their own version of the Ultra Boost. It has a laceless Primeknit upper, a comfortable floating arch, and a special elastic band that provides more than enough targeted support.

Since first introducing the adidas Ultra Boost X, adidas has released this sneaker in a variety of different styles and colors that make them every bit as fashionable as they are functional. From the simplistic adidas Ultraboost X Black Dark Grey Heather-Onix (Women's) to the more colorful adidas Ultra Boost X Noble Ink (Women's), you won’t have any trouble tracking down a pair of these adidas sneakers that’ll fit perfectly into your workout wardrobe.
