Air Jordan 23

The Air Jordan 23 (XXIII) is the 23rd edition of the Jordan Brand trainers and the first sustainable basketball shoe using the ‘Nike Considered’ design strategy, which promotes sustainability and the use of eco-friendly materials. Air Jordan 23 trainers are available in different designs and colourways.

The silhouette features an upper constructed with premium leather and padded fabric, with a leather forefoot, midfoot, and heel, whilst the padded fabric covers the ankle. A new technique that utilises a 3D stitching machine was used on the upper design of the shoe. The Air Jordan 23 features a recovery foam around the heel that adjusts to different foot shapes, reinforced quarter panels, and a breathable tongue. Original Air Jordan XX3 trainers have a full-length Zoom cushioning system. The gum outsole features a Michael Jordan fingerprint pattern for traction. Other details of the basketball legend on this trainer include his signature on the toe cap, thumbprint on the tongue, and double helix-inspired handcrafted MJ stitching.

Air Jordan 23 trainers feature an adjustable traditional lacing system enhanced by a TPU cage that surrounds a good section of the midsole. The sole comprises a carbon fibre shaft at the midfoot for stability. The Air Jordan 23 is available in various models, including the Jordan Formula 23, an alternative basketball shoe with stretch laces, a neoprene collar, a rubber outsole cage, a leather mudguard, and injected Phylon. It is also available in low-cut designs like in the Jordan 23 Low White Varsity Red. Player Exclusive (PE) trainers like the Ray Allen All-Star (PE) (2008) and Ray Allen Boston Celtics PE (Alternate Black) are part of the collection.
