Nike Mercurial is a line of football (i.e., soccer) boots and cleats from the giant athletic brand Nike. Made popular by both amateur and professional footballers (including renowned Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazilian star Neymar), per Nike, these shoes were designed for speed and performance. Nike began producing these shoes in the 1990s, partnering with the Brazilian National Team in 1996. A few years later, Ronaldo famously wore them in the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Since 1996, Nike has consistently released a new Mercurial design every 1–2 years.

Created by Korean designer Jeongwoo Lee, these thin and lightweight Nike Mercurial cleats are intended to “perfect perfection" and to help athletes look and feel faster to give them the mental edge over their competitors. The idea here is that if you feel fast, you’ll be fast. Made for and worn by stars, the intention of Nike Mercurial boots is to help fuel the footballer in us all. Lee has further encouraged speed and perfection in the design, with the unique “swoosh" and signature bright colors that cannot be missed.

One of the most popular colors of the shoe is the fiercely bright blue, as seen here in the Nike Mercurial Vapor 14 Elite FG Blueprint Pack Chlorine Blue. Sure to intimidate any opponent, fly in style as you make your way down the pitch to score a goal in these.

Many other colors of the Nike Mercurial boot are also available, such as metallic copper, yellow, pink, black, green, and white. The cleats are also available in several different styles, such as high-top and low-top.
