Nike SB has come a long way since it was established in 2002. With great style and functionality, SB Dunks are one of Nike's most popular shoes today. See More
Nike's SB team is focused on skateboarding shoes and accessories. It took some time for Nike to really understand skating culture, though. Before the launch of the SB line in the early 2000s, Nike had tried and failed to connect with the skater market twice. The shoe Nike SB entered the market with was the Dunk. Originally designed as a basketball shoe, the Dunk made its debut in 1985. When it couldn't compete with the Air Jordan, it was retired in 1988. In 2002, it was re-imagined as the SB Dunk and finally connected with an audience. Since then, the SB Dunk has been a mainstay for Nike. The Nike SB Dunk is available in low, mid and high tops. This is a shoe with a sense of humor. One notable recent collaboration is with Ben & Jerry's, the Nike SB Dunk Low Chunky Dunky. The SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye Black has a playful feel. Other popular versions include the SB Dunk Low Supreme Jewel Swoosh in the Metallic Silver colorway.
