Product Description
One of the most desired Air Max Ones of all time, the Kidrobot x Nike Air Max 1 released on February 11th, 2005 at the corner of Madison and 61st in NYC via Barneys New York. Styled by Paul Budnitz and Chad Phillips of Kidrobot to match the Kidrobot Maserati Quattroporte III Royal of 1986, each pair of the Kidrobot AM1 came packaged in a special Kidrobot-branded gold and pink box that included a Kidrobot mini-keychain. Additionally, all Kidrobot Nike Air Max also included a special insole inside a signature Kidrobot foil bag. Five hidden insoles were created, and each pair only included one, so you were not guaranteed as to which you would get. The Kidrobot AM1 themselves were composed of a high-quality full-grain, black, leather upper accented by a beige overlay on the midfoot and hot pink eyestays, laces, and sock liner. Finishing the Kidrobot Air Max 1s off was a classic gum outsole and Kidrobot branded stock insoles, separated from those in the foil packaging. Even though there was an additional Friend and Family pair that was even more rare, the Kidrobot x Nike Air Max 1, which dropped at $150 on release day, now sells for 20 times its original MSRP.
