Designed by Kiko Kostadinov, this sneaker takes elements from original Gel-Kayano models created by Toshikazu Kayano. A web of overlays crisscrosses over the side panels, giving the sneaker the early 2000s version of a futuristic look. While the shoe keeps its original tooling, it features updated components and materials. The airy mesh upper in white allows the foot to breathe, while synthetic leather replaces genuine leather on the metallic-silver overlays. Pops of bright Tai Chi Yellow can be found on parts of the midsole, and ASICS branding on the heel, tongue, and lateral side panel.
