ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Sneakers

The Gel-Kayano line debuted in the world of ASICS in 1993, and has been improving in aesthetics and technology in every iteration since. The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 infuses a retro silhouette from circa 2008, with more modern sneaker technology for a lighter, more efficient running and lifestyle shoe.

Gel-Kayano 14 by ASICS brings back the look of a lattice-work mesh upper crossed with synthetic leather overlays to give the shoe a dashing look and more foot support. Hits of synthetic suede surround the toebox and eyestays. The Gel-Kayano 14 branding covers the overlay on the lateral heel, while ASICS branding appears on the tongue tag, insole, and Gel branding accents the heel. The midsole is constructed of EVA foam cushioning, with signature ASICS visible gel units in both the heel and forefoot. The midfoot is supported with ASICS TRUSSIC technology, designed to provide stability as it prevents the foot from twisting. The outsole of the shoe is made of rubber pods on the forefoot and heel, separated by the midfoot TRUSSIC arch. The outsole rubber is usually a combination of dark and light colors that echo the colors on the upper, and the midfoot arch is usually a hit of brighter color.

The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 is sized for both men and women, and features a variety of colorways. Some are more monochromatic, such as the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Triple White, and others pop with contrasting shades, such as the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Cream Black Metallic Plum. Some colorways sport hits of bright color, including the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 PinkGlo or the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Bright Lime Midnight (Women's).
