BAPE ABC Camo KendamaGreen

Product Description

The BAPE ABC Camo Kendama Green brings A Bathing Ape’s signature camouflage to a traditional Japanese skill toy. A kendama challenges players to catch a wooden ball on the toy’s cups or spike, making it as much an object to practice with as one to display. BAPE’s green ABC Camo gives this version a recognizable identity within the brand’s accessories collection.

Its appeal lies in the meeting of a familiar game and a pattern closely associated with BAPE. Unlike a tee or hoodie, the kendama gives collectors a hands-on way to enjoy the brand’s design language. It can sit alongside other BAPE accessories on a shelf, or be picked up for a few attempts at a new trick. The green colorway is a detail to note when comparing it with other camouflage releases.

For collectors interested in the smaller objects that make up BAPE’s wider catalog, this kendama offers something different from apparel and sneakers. It also makes a distinctive gift for someone who enjoys Japanese streetwear or skill toys. The supplied price is $40, and the supplied date is April 24, 2021.
