Tokyo, Japan's BAPE, also known as A Bathing Ape, is a lifestyle brand founded in 1993. Rapper, DJ, and Teriyaki Boyz member Nigo was inspired by the Planet of the Apes film imagery for the brand's signature identity, the ape head logo.
