Bearbrick Haruki Okayama Popcorn Bear 400%

Product Description

The Bearbrick Haruki Okayama Popcorn Bear 400% gives Medicom Toy’s bear silhouette a playful identity centered on popcorn. Created with performer and artist Haruki Okayama, the character brings a cheerful, theatrical energy to the familiar BE@RBRICK shape. At 400% scale, it is large enough for the design to stand out on a shelf without requiring the space of a 1000% figure.

Popcorn Bear has a different mood from BE@RBRICKs built around a logo or an established film character. Its appeal comes from a character created for the collectible itself, giving fans something to discover in its expression and overall presentation. The figure works as a bright focal point among simpler pieces or as part of a display devoted to Japanese designer toys. Its name also makes the concept immediately memorable.

For collectors following Okayama’s creative work, this is a tangible piece of that world. For BE@RBRICK fans, it offers an original character in a popular display size, with a personality distinct from the line’s many licensed designs. The supplied price is $129, and the supplied date is August 1, 2018.
