Bearbrick Jean-Michel Basquiat #9 1000%

Product Description

The Bearbrick Jean-Michel Basquiat #9 1000% brings the artist’s visual language to one of Medicom Toy’s largest standard BE@RBRICK formats. As the ninth Basquiat version, it has a specific place in a continuing series that turns the bear silhouette into a canvas for art. At approximately 70 centimeters tall, the figure has the presence to anchor a room or a dedicated collection display.

Basquiat’s work is known for layered marks, text, and imagery that invite a closer look. On a three-dimensional figure, the artwork continues around the head, torso, and limbs, giving collectors new details to notice as they move around it. The 1000% scale gives those elements more room than smaller editions. Medicom Toy identifies this release as an officially licensed Basquiat piece, connecting its design to the artist’s estate.

For art collectors and BE@RBRICK fans alike, #9 offers a recognizable artist collaboration in a substantial display size. Its edition number is important when distinguishing it from other Basquiat BE@RBRICKs. The supplied price is $435, and the supplied date is March 1, 2022.
