The Air Jordan 33 series is an Air Jordan 3-inspired silhouette. It is available in multiple designs and colorways.
Air Jordan 33 sneakers feature a breathable mesh upper with leather and synthetic overlays. The forefoot section is made of pure mesh with no backing layers underneath, while the toe and heel sections have nylon backing below the mesh for additional structure within the upper. Taking cues from the Air Jordan III, this sneaker has an extra-large tongue adorned with the Jumpman logo and the “Nike Air” branding at the heel. It also features FastFit technology, which resembles the original Air window first used in the Air Jordans 3. Nike’s FastFit technology on this sneaker features a tightening lacing system that offers a full 360-lockdown with a one-strap pull. The Air Jordan XXXIII has a full-length Zoom Air bag with a large Zoom cushion on the forefoot and a small Hex-Zoom unit on the heel. A carbon-reinforced FlightSpeed plate separates your foot from the setup.
Depending on the color and design, Air Jordan 33 sneakers have a translucent rubber outsole with an improved version of the nub traction pattern in the Kobe AD NXT “Exodus.” The outsole’s edge extends upwards, covering the toe partly. The Air Jordan 33 is available in different colors, including the ‘Tech Pack’ and ‘Future of Flight’ colors. Collaborative editions are also part of this collection. For instance, the Jordan Brand has partnered with rapper Travis Scott for the Jordan XXXIII Travis Scott ‘Army Olive’, which comes in an Army Olive, Sail, Ale, and Black color combinations with the Cactus Jack branding on the tongue. Special edition colors like the XXXIII SE FIBA (2019) and XXXIII Chinese New Year (2019) are also part of this selection.
