READYMADE

READYMADE is a fashion house based in Japan known for its unconventional approach to fashion. Founded by Yuto Hosokawa in 2013, the label’s goal is to promote world peace. READYMADE does this by upcycling military materials to remake things once used for violence into things used for creativity and expression. Known for its Western influence and detailed patchwork, READYMADE produces a variety of items, including apparel, bags, shoes, accessories, and more.

The READYMADE brand is known for producing high-quality clothing and accessories that look like vintage military gear with a modern twist. The company’s clothing items are recognizable by bold patches, camouflage patterns, and other elements that stick to the military theme. The READYMADE Chair Stadium Jacket Khaki, for example, is a varsity jacket with several branding patches as well as some unique chair patchwork on the sleeves. If you’re more in the market for bags and accessories, you may like the READYMADE Vintage Tote Bag Khaki. This tote bag is functional, durable, and void of the typical patchwork, providing a more muted design with straps and the classic shape. The brand also produces figurines and plush stuffed animals.

READYMADE, as you can see, makes a wide variety of products to promote its mission of peace around the world. If you are looking for other Japanese lifestyle houses, however, you may also want to check out the Hysteric Glamour page on StockX.
