Takashi Murakami Plushes

Takashi Murakami is a contemporary artist from Japan who specializes in creating everything from paintings and sculptures to figurines and even plush figures. He has earned a reputation for blurring the lines that so often exist between the high and low arts with items like his Takashi Murakami plush figures. He has been able to make an impact both in his native country and in Europe, the U.S., and other parts of the world due to his outside-the-box thinking when it comes to putting his stamp on his artistic creations.

The Takashi Murakami plush figures, in particular, have been especially impactful because they’ve helped to make Murakami’s works of art more accessible to the masses thanks to their affordable price points. The Takashi Murakami flower plush, in particular, helped take the iconic flower character that Murakami created and displayed in galleries and put it directly into people’s hands in the form of items like the Takashi Murakami Flower Plush 30CM Rainbow/Yellow.

In addition to taking his own works and turning them into Takashi Murakami plush figures, Murakami has also teamed up with other brands to help bring their visions to life. From Complex Magazine to Uniqlo, he has worked with a whole host of notable companies and designed Takashi Murakami plush figures for them. The Takashi Murakami x Doraemon x Uniqlo Plush Toy Multiis one of the many examples of this.
