UNO

UNO is a popular card game that was, believe it or not, invented by a barber in 1971. The game is based on other card games such as crazy eights and mau-mau. As the game gained popularity, Mattel acquired the rights to it in 1992 and further propelled its popularity. Since it’s been under the direction of Mattel, the brand has grown considerably and UNO has transcended cultural and language barriers.

UNO has been translated into over 30 languages and sold in more than 80 countries. Thanks to its simple rules, it’s easy to play and people of all ages love it. Collector sets and special collaborations keep the brand fresh, like the UNO x Museum of Graffiti Card Deck where the cards boast artwork by 8 street art legends. Streetwear brands like BAPE have also teamed up with UNO to produce the BAPE x Uno Mattel Creations Cards for fans.

UNO has even gone digital. Over the years, various themed editions and digital versions of the game have been released, allowing players to enjoy the game on gaming consoles, smartphones, and online platforms. This adaptability has helped UNO remain a beloved game for over five decades. Search for your next set of co-branded UNO cards, brand new and unused, on StockX now.
