Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh was a post-impressionist artist from the Netherlands whose short ten-year career resulted in a large legacy of beloved artworks. Known for his thick, short, and sometimes swirly or broken brushstrokes, he generally painted self-portraits, landscapes, and still lifes that had personal symbolism. Two of Van Gogh's most well-known paintings are titled Sunflowers and the Starry Night, both painted in 1889.
