Product Description
The Casio G-Shock GA2000-1A2 is a carbon and resin analog timepiece, featuring a 47mm diameter case. The face includes a disk pointer and raised hour marks, accented by the front button below. The case is made of fine resin and carbon fiber, which creates a lightweight feel. The band is two-tone resin, with a bold turquoise exterior lined in black. Functions include 200m water resistance, world time, a stopwatch and countdown timer, and a double LED light, among others.
Casio G-Shock is known for shock resistance in watches, and the GA2000-1A2 takes the brand’s toughness further with Carbon Core Guard fabrication. The case’s blend of fine resin and carbon fiber provides rigidity that is stronger than resin and protects the internal module, which combines with a dual back cover to protect the case back from impact damage. The watch features improved front button shock resistance, thus eliminating the need for a button guard.
In our opinion, the best feature of the Casio G-Shock GA2000-1A2 is its sporty color palette, which is functional and rugged enough for extreme sports and activities. The Casio G-Shock GA2000-1A2 retailed at $129 upon release.
