Product Description
While the original Air Jordan 1 AJKO was designed to be a more affordable version of the first Air Jordan sneaker, that hasn’t stopped Jordan Brand from re-releasing it with higher-end looks from time to time. The Air Jordan 1 Retro AJKO Pure Platinum was a great example of this.
This iteration of the Air Jordan 1 AJKO had a pure platinum upper with hits of metallic silver scattered throughout it. It also had a quilted pattern on the collar, toe box, midfoot, and heel to accentuate its design. It was finished off with a bright-white midsole that popped even more than usual thanks to the pure platinum used elsewhere.
Our favorite part of this sneaker is that, if not for the AJKO branding on the "Wings" logo, you might not even know it was an AJKO sneaker. Jordan Brand did an impressive job cramming enough quality into it to help it rival the regular AJ1 sneaker. The Jordan 1 Retro AJKO Pure Platinum was released on July 30, 2016, and retailed for $140.
