KAWS Resting Place Vinyl FigureGrey

Product Description

The KAWS Resting Place Vinyl Figure Grey presents Companion in a reclining pose, combining a relaxed posture with the artist’s dissected treatment. The gray exterior preserves the character’s familiar identity, while the exposed anatomical section introduces a contrasting view beneath the surface. Together, the pose and cross-section give the figure a distinct presence within KAWS’s broader Companion series.

Produced in painted cast vinyl through the artist’s OriginalFake project and Medicom Toy, Resting Place belongs to the 2013 period of KAWS collectibles. The reclining composition creates a wider display profile than a standing figure, changing how the character occupies a shelf. Manufacturer and artist markings appear on the underside, connecting the object to its production history.

For collectors comparing Companion poses, Resting Place offers a composition that feels contemplative while retaining the unusual detail of the dissected body. Its gray color also makes it easy to group with other Companion editions. Released on February 22, 2013, the KAWS Resting Place Vinyl Figure Grey retailed for $350.
