New Balance 1906R Gore-TexBlack Alkaline Green

Product Description

The New Balance 1906R Gore-Tex Black Alkaline Green combines technical running-inspired construction with a dark palette and contrasting green details. Its layered upper carries the curving overlays associated with the 1906 family, giving the shoe a recognizable early-2000s appearance. The Gore-Tex treatment adds weather protection, making this version distinct within the model’s wider lifestyle assortment.

The sole combines ACTEVA LITE cushioning, N-ergy shock absorption, and segmented ABZORB SBS heel cushioning. Stability Web technology adds arch support, while a TPU heel cage provides structure around the rear of the shoe. Mesh and synthetic materials create variation across the upper, with the black-and-green combination highlighting the technical arrangement of the different components.

For collectors interested in weather-ready sneakers, this edition brings a functional update to a familiar New Balance silhouette. Its dark base remains adaptable for everyday outfits, while Alkaline Green supplies a clear identifying accent within a collection of neutral running-inspired shoes. Released on October 1, 2024, the New Balance 1906R Gore-Tex Black Alkaline Green retailed for $170.
