The water-resistant upper is made of a durable ripstop material that doesn’t tear easily and prevents rips from spreading. To keep water out, the sneaker's design doesn't include a tongue. Instead, industrial laces wind through loops and hold the sneaker closed. There is also a pull tab on the midsection, which helps the wearer put on and take off the sneaker. 3m reflective detailing increases visibility during low lighting and gives the shoe a futuristic look. The sneaker also has deep grooves on the rubber outsole that increase traction on various surfaces.
