The Nike Air Max Plus Black Blue Red was designed by streamlining the exterior "Lava" cage to form the upper mesh. The entirety of the upper mesh is adorned with reflective schemes. Also, the entire upper is dressed in a reflective material, coating the mesh shell. The shoe also features the Swoosh logo and Lava streaks, but Nike does not use reflective capacity this time, creating a contrasting theme.
