The Nike Air Max Plus Black Opti Yellow is a performance shoe whose design was inspired by flames and beaches.

The Black Opti Yellow Nike Air Max Plus has a mesh upper that fades from a lighter Wolf Grey around the toe box and laces to a Black color around the bottom and heel. Curved shiny black TPU supports run vertically down the upper, resembling flames. A small Nike swoosh appears on each side in Opti Yellow, while a black mudguard and shiny black toe cap support the front half of the shoe. The heel counter is also black leather and features a Tuned Air logo. The design of the arch was inspired by the shape of a whale’s tail, and it also fades into Opty Yellow near the bottom. Air Max units are seen under the heel and forefoot.
