The Wolf Grey Metallic Gold iteration of the Nike Zoom LeBron NXXT Gen features an upper of lightweight, breathable grey mesh with a pattern based on the map of Akron, Ohio, the hometown of LeBron James. The lateral side of this shoe sports a white synthetic leather Nike Swoosh with a 3D gold Nike Swoosh overlapping it. A dark-grey leather overlay begins as a heel counter and wraps around to cover the medial side, where it is adorned with a white side-panel Swoosh. The silvery tongue matches the mesh of the upper, while the sock liner is a darker grey. NXXT branding appears on the lighter grey insole.
What we enjoy most about this sneaker is the midsole, which houses ACZ Turbo Zoom Air under the forefoot and Zoom Air under the heel. The grey rubber outsole is also patterned after a map of Akron. The Nike Zoom LeBron NXXT Gen Wolf Grey Metallic Gold was released on June 12, 2023, for $160 retail.
