Nike KD 8

Back in 2007 when he was an NBA rookie, Kevin Durant signed a 7-year, $60 million sneaker deal with Nike. At the time, it was the second-largest sneaker deal ever signed by an NBA rookie, but even still, you could argue Nike ended up getting a bargain when scooping up KD at that price. Nike has released almost 20 KD signature sneakers since then, including the Nike KD 8, and recently made KD just the third NBA player to ever sign a lifetime sneaker deal with the company.

The Nike KD 8 was Durant’s eighth signature sneaker, and it was released in 2015. It featured a FlyWeave upper designed to make it one of the most flexible sneakers in the KD collection. It also included a full-length Zoom Air unit that gave it plenty of cushion and bounce. There were Flywire cables put in place as well to make the KD 8 a supportive shoe without adding extra weight to it.

But one of the most intriguing parts about the Nike KD 8 was that it was available in a wide range of colorways and styles. From the simple KD 8 Blackout to the colorful KD 8 Prince George to the boundary-pushing Nike KD 8 Elite Home, there certainly wasn’t any shortage of options for those interested in picking up a pair. Nike attacked the KD 8 from all angles, like it’s done with so many KD signature sneakers.

It’s been difficult for fans of the Nike KD 8 to track it down at times, but StockX makes it easy to locate the KD 8 sneakers you want. Look for them here.
