Kobe Bryant was known for his perfectionism. It informed everything he did, and it shows in the design of his shoes, too. The streamlined, elegant Kobe 10 is a great example of this attitude. This shoe was designed with performance in mind. The 10 used Lunarlon cushioning in concert with siping grooves inspired by Nike Free. The traction system was similarly innovative. Informed by the technology used on racing tires, the sole had dozens of protruding nodules to really grip the hard court. At the time, this was considered the best traction system ever developed for a basketball shoe. Since its debut in 2015, the Kobe 10 has been released in both low- and high-top versions.
