UGG Boot Bailey is a collection of UGG boots based on the Classic Boot that comes in a variety of silhouettes with several different closures. Initially launched in Australia in 1978, this sheepskin boot became a staple of laidback California surfer fashion. UGG Boot Bailey usually features uppers, linings, and insoles crafted with premium sheepskin. UGG continues its eco-conscious journey by introducing a SugarSole outsole, produced from sugarcane, or Treadlite made with petroleum-based ethylene. In order to protect the upper from the elements, the UGG Bailey Boot applies a water repellent treatment.
The most recognizable variations of the UGG Boot Bailey are the Bailey Bow Boot, the Tall Bailey Bow Boot, the Short Bailey Button Boot, the Mini Bailey Bow Boot, and the Mini Bailey Button Boot. The main closure types are button, zipper, and bow, while the silhouettes are tall, short, mini, and ultra mini. The UGG Mini Bailey Bow II Chestnut (Women's) has a 6" shaft height and a fixed satin bow along the suede back shaft.
