The Jordan 1 Mid Shattered Backboard (TD) is named for the iconic moment in basketball history when Michael Jordan shattered the glass backboard in an Italian exhibition game in 1985. This shoe has been specifically sized for toddlers.

The iconic AJ1 Mid-Top silhouette for little feet features a base of smooth white leather with a toe cap and eyestay overlays in black leather to match the padded collar. The collar overlay, heel counter, and side-panel Nike Swoosh are all made from orange leather, a color that pays homage to the jersey MJ was wearing when he shattered the backboard. A padded nylon tongue adds comfort, and the black webbing pull tab at the heel makes it easier to get these shoes on and off your toddler. The white foam midsole with cushioning air sits on a black rubber outsole with traction so little feet don't slip.

Our favorite aspect of this toddlers’ sneaker is the bold simplicity of the Jordan branding: a black Wings logo hits the orange collar, while an orange Jumpman hits the black tongue tag. The Jordan 1 Mid Shattered Backboard (TD) was released on January 1, 2019, for $50 retail.
