The Air Jordan 1 has been re-released numerous times in a variety of colorways since the 1980s. The Jordan 1 Mid White/Pure Platinum is one of the few nearly all-white versions of the AJ1 available.

Almost every aspect of this AJ1 is void of any color, as everything from the upper made out of leather and synthetic materials, to the swoosh, to the "Jumpman" logo on the heel is white. The only deviations from this are the small pops of Pure Platinum that show up on the tongue and the "Wings" logo. They make the rest of the classic sneaker look even whiter and brighter than it would otherwise.
