Ambush

AMBUSH built a global following by merging traditional Japanese artisanship with streetwear aesthetics that verge on the avant-garde. This fashion brand was founded in 2008 in Tokyo by two popular figures in the Japanese music world, artist Yoon Ahn and producer Verbal. The pair has earned an international profile through endorsements by US musical celebrities. AMBUSH was a finalist for the prestigious LVMH prize in 2018, which propelled it to a level where it began collaborating with some of the world's most iconic brands, like Nike and UGG.

AMBUSH clothing uses materials chosen explicitly for aesthetic appeal, functionality, and durability. It's a winning formula, well expressed in one of its exciting collabs with Nike on the Nike Dunk High AMBUSH Black White. These shoes have a premium leather upper and put a new twist on this famous B-ball model with a raised heel counter that has a black plastic protector. These unique AMBUSH models also have exaggerated plastic Swooshes that extend beyond the heel, evoking the mythical winged shoes of Hermes.

AMBUSH has collaborated with Nike on its sneakers, but they don't stop there. It's worked with the brand on many jackets and released some extremely imaginative shoes with UGG. There are plenty of exclusively in-house designs to explore, too. Take a look at a versatile Ambush Patchwork Shirt Jacket White/Multi for instance, or an artsy leather clutch bag. There's also a wealth of figurines to delve into.
